Privacy policy

Privacy, in plain English.

The short version: this site collects almost nothing, we never sell personal data, and when we work with a business, its data stays in its own accounts.

Effective date: October 5, 2026

Who we are

Bold Automations is a New York company that builds automations, AI agents, custom software and websites for other businesses. In this policy, “we” and “us” means Bold Automations, and “the site” means getboldautomations.com. Questions about this policy go to hello@getboldautomations.com.

What we collect

What you send us. If you email us or book a call, we receive what you share: usually your name, email address, your business and what you’d like help with, plus anything else you choose to include.

Basic technical data. Like every website, the site is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare), whose servers process technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don’t use it to identify you.

If you subscribe to The Bold Brief. We store your email address, whether you’ve confirmed it, when you signed up, confirmed or unsubscribed, and which articles we’ve sent you. Details in “The Bold Brief” below.

Nothing else. The site has no accounts, and the newsletter sign-up is its only form.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Its fonts and code are served from the site itself, so visiting doesn’t send your details to other companies. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy first. The one exception is the booking page (/book): it shows Calendly’s scheduling calendar, and Calendly sets its own cookies there, covered by Calendly’s privacy policy. No other page loads it.

How we use what you send us

  • To reply to you and arrange a call.
  • To send The Bold Brief, if you’ve subscribed and confirmed.
  • To plan, price and carry out work you ask us to do.
  • To keep the records that tax and business law require.
  • To keep the site and our accounts secure.

We don’t use it for advertising, we don’t add you to a mailing list without asking, and we don’t use it to train AI models.

Services we use

A few trusted providers handle information for us, each only for its own job:

  • Google Workspace for email.
  • Cloudflare for hosting and security, and to store the newsletter list.
  • Resend to send The Bold Brief’s emails, from hello@getboldautomations.com.
  • Calendly for booking calls, on the booking page only. It receives the details you enter when you book.

Each has its own privacy policy and security commitments.

The Bold Brief (our newsletter)

  • You confirm first. After you sign up, we email you a link; only confirmed addresses get newsletters.
  • One email per new article, with the article itself. Nothing else, and no list is ever shared or sold.
  • Unsubscribe in one click from the link at the bottom of every email. It works right away. You can also email hello@getboldautomations.com.
  • No tracking. We don’t track whether you open the emails or click the links.
  • What we keep. Unconfirmed sign-ups are removed 30 days after the confirmation email. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address only marked as unsubscribed, so you’re never emailed again; ask us and we’ll delete it entirely.

Client data in projects

When we build something for a business, its data is handled differently from everything above, and more strictly:

  • It stays in the client’s own accounts. Automations run inside the client’s systems (their email, accounting software, store and so on). We don’t copy that data into systems of ours.
  • We only access what the job needs, and only for as long as we need it. When the work is done, our access is removed.
  • Confidentiality is in our contract, agreed in writing before we see anything.
  • If testing needs sample data, we agree on it with the client first and delete it when the work is finished.
  • The client stays in charge. We work on their instructions, and what we build belongs to them.

We don’t sell personal data

We never sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it except with the providers above (to run our business), when the law requires it, or with your permission.

How long we keep it

We keep emails and booking details for as long as we need them to talk with you and work together, and for as long as tax and business record-keeping rules require. After that, we delete them. Newsletter data is kept as described under “The Bold Brief” above. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider under its own retention rules.

Security

We protect information with reasonable measures, including encrypted connections (the site is served over HTTPS), two-step verification on our accounts, and access limited to what each task needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to keep it as safe as we can.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@getboldautomations.com and we’ll reply within 2 business days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we’ll honor these requests wherever you are.

Children

The site is for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll say so clearly on this page.
